MNS2.0 Low-Voltage Switchgear
The MNS2.0 low-voltage switchgear (hereinafter referred to as MNS2.0) is suitable for all power generation, distribution, and utilization applications, such as:
Main (auxiliary) power cabinets, distribution cabinets, motor power supply and motor control centers, and electronic cabinets for open-loop or closed-loop control systems,
Power systems, petrochemicals, industrial and mining enterprises, public utilities, municipal engineering, commercial buildings, and more.
The MNS2.0 switchgear, including its electrical configuration, adopts a modular design, with a highly flexible cabinet frame structure. Various electrical components can be installed inside the cabinet to meet diverse application requirements and to accommodate different operating environments while achieving the corresponding protection ratings. Compared with conventional products, the MNS2.0 offers numerous advantages:
- Standardized, modular design across the entire product line.
- Enclosures can be designed with corresponding protection ratings to meet different operational and environmental requirements.
- Different types of functional components, such as fixed and withdrawable units, can be freely installed within the same cabinet.
- Compact structure that saves cabinet space.
- The distribution circuit layout is economical, with a high installation density.
- Switchgear cabinets can be arranged back-to-back.
- Equipment is easy to update and improve.
- The equipment features high operational reliability and continuity.
- Fully ensure the personal safety of operating personnel.
The MNS2.0 switchgear is a product that has undergone Type Testing (referred to as TTA), and it complies with standards such as IEC 60439-1 and GB 7251.1, as well as their related supporting standards.
The MNS2.0 switchgear is a complete set of indoor electrical equipment. When the protection rating reaches IP54, it can operate under other working conditions as well.
The maximum ambient temperature shall be 40°C, with an average over any 24-hour period not exceeding 35°C; the minimum ambient temperature shall be –5°C. When the equipment is operated under ambient conditions exceeding these limits, derating shall be applied. The air shall be clean, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 50% at 40°C. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity levels are permissible (e.g., 90% at 20°C). In applications where condensation may occur, measures such as ventilation or heating shall be implemented within the switchgear to prevent condensation.
The switchgear shall be installed at an altitude not exceeding 2,000 m. If the switchgear is installed in an area with an altitude greater than 2,000 m, the equipment shall be derated accordingly during operation.

| Note 1: A TTA refers to a low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assembly that has been type-approved for a specific model or series, and which, compared with a standardized assembly that has already been verified as compliant with the relevant standards, exhibits no differences that could affect its performance. Note 2: The vertical busbar specifically refers to the distribution busbar in drawer-type switchgear. | ||||
