The HXGT6B-12 ring main unit is a high-performance, environmentally friendly 12 kV intelligent switchgear independently developed by Tian’an Electric, featuring a combination of vacuum arc extinction and (environmentally friendly) gas insulation technology.
All high-voltage live components of the product are sealed within a stainless-steel enclosure filled with pure nitrogen or compressed, dried air at a low gauge pressure of 0.02–0.04 MPa (at 20°C) and rated to IP67. An environmentally friendly gas is used to replace the greenhouse-gas SF6, without altering users’ established operating and maintenance practices for gas-insulated ring main units. This solution provides a seamless replacement for both SF6-based and solid-insulated ring main units, delivering a new, green and environmentally friendly product to customers.
1) The circuit breaker cabinet has a rated current of up to 1250 A and a breaking capacity of 31.5 kA, making it capable of replacing certain KYN28A-12 center-mounted switchgear cabinets.
2) Equipped with an observation window for the earthing of the three-position isolating switch;
3) Uses less solid insulating material, resulting in greater environmental benefits;
4) Safe and reliable operation under zero gauge pressure conditions;
5) Two isolation schemes are available for users to choose from: upper isolation and lower isolation; the cable-side earthing switch can be directly closed, complying with the power sector’s “Five Preventive” operating procedures and aligning with users’ operational habits.
6) A self-designed, proven circuit breaker/loaded switch operating mechanism combined with a three-position isolation mechanism is employed, offering excellent versatility and reliability.
