ZGS-Z/35 Combined Transformer for Photovoltaic Power Generation
The ZGS–ZG series of photovoltaic-specific combined transformers are a product line independently developed by Tian’an Electric to meet the needs of domestic and international customers’ photovoltaic power generation projects. Among similar products in China, Tian’an Electric is one of the earliest manufacturers to research, develop, produce, and put such equipment into operation. Notably, the R&D and industrialization project for these combined transformers for photovoltaic power generation was awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by Ningbo Municipality and, in 2013, received the “National Key New Product” certificate. ZGS-Z/35 Combined Transformer for Photovoltaic Power Generation
The ZGS–ZG series of photovoltaic-specific packaged transformers is a product line independently developed by Tian’an Electric to meet the needs of domestic and international customers’ photovoltaic power generation projects. Among similar products in China, Tian’an Electric is one of the earliest manufacturers to research, develop, produce, and put such equipment into operation. Notably, the R&D and industrialization project for these packaged transformers for photovoltaic applications was awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Ningbo Municipal Government and, in 2013, received the “National Key New Product” certificate.
1) Conducted a 4,000-meter high-altitude test;
2) The main heating element (the transformer itself) is installed outdoors, while all other electrical equipment is housed in a metal enclosure with an IP54 protection rating.
3) Compact and miniaturized design: for products with the same capacity (below 1600 kV), the footprint is only 52% of that of a European-style pad-mounted substation.
4) Rain- and snow-proof, sand- and dust-proof, corrosion-resistant, and fully enclosed, ensuring suitability for long-term outdoor use;
5) We can undertake the non-standard design and manufacturing of equipment in various capacities as required by the design institute.
Product structural features:
a. The product is divided into four sections: the transformer compartment, the high-voltage cable compartment, the high-voltage control room, and the low-voltage control room.
b. The transformer performance meets the requirements for low-loss, energy-efficient transformers, and the transformer windings adopt a double-split structure.
c. The high-voltage side is protected by a terminal-type load switch in combination with a fuse; the fuse is a full-range protective fuse that provides secondary-side overload protection and line short-circuit protection.
d. The high-voltage oil-immersed load switch is installed in the transformer room, utilizing the transformer’s insulating oil as both the insulating and cooling medium, resulting in a compact structure with efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, it can be configured in either a common-tank or separate-tank design according to customer requirements.
e. The high-voltage side outgoing lines utilize a high-voltage dry-type bushing combined with a supporting copper busbar structure, facilitating the connection of multiple cable conductors.
f. The low-voltage side outgoing lines of the product shall be configured as two independent circuits directly, in accordance with the characteristics of photovoltaic power generation, or may be configured according to user requirements.
g. The enclosure is fabricated from high-quality cold-rolled steel sheet using seamless welding and undergoes anti-rust treatment, resulting in high mechanical strength and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
h. The high-voltage and low-voltage control rooms are reliably separated by a partition. The components operable from the high-voltage control room include load switches, transformer tap changers, and protective fuses. The enclosure is equipped with local monitoring instruments and essential accessories, such as an oil-temperature gauge, an oil-level gauge, a pressure-relief valve, an oil-drain valve, an oil-sampling cock, and an oil-filling plug. The low-voltage control room accommodates intelligent circuit breakers, knife-fuse switches, and miniature switches, and is also fitted with ammeters and voltmeters as well as related measuring instruments.
i. Depending on customer requirements, a transformer substation monitoring unit can be configured to enable remote measurement, remote control, and remote signaling of various substation signals via the backend system.
