The HXGT10-40.5 indoor gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the HXGT10-40.5 SF6-filled ring main unit) is a high-tech product independently developed by Tian’an Electric, employing SF6 gas insulation technology and achieving a technical level that is domestically leading and internationally advanced. The load-switch-type and circuit-breaker-type SF6-filled switchgear units were awarded the “National Key New Product” certificate in 2007 and 2011, respectively.
All high-voltage live components of the HXGT10-40.5 gas-insulated ring main unit are sealed within a stainless-steel enclosure filled with SF6 gas at a slight positive pressure (gauge pressure of 0.02–0.04 MPa at 20°C) and comply with IP67 protection requirements. The gas-insulated switchgear is available in three configurations: C, F, and V. The C and F types use SF6 gas as both the arc-quenching and insulating medium, employing a micro-positive-pressure SF6 compressed-air arc-quenching principle that delivers reliable arc-extinguishing performance while requiring low operating energy for the mechanism. The V type, on the other hand, utilizes a vacuum arc-quenching principle, offering strong breaking capacity and long electrical life.
