The XGN49 series indoor gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (C-GIS), hereinafter referred to as the XGN49-40.5(24) gas-insulated cabinet, is a high-tech product independently developed by Tian’an Electric. It employs vacuum arc extinction and SF6 gas insulation technologies, with technical performance that ranks among the leading domestic standards and reaches an internationally advanced level.
All high-voltage live components of the XGN49 gas-insulated switchgear are sealed within a stainless-steel enclosure filled with SF6 gas at a low gauge pressure of 0.03 to 0.05 MPa (at 20°C), achieving an IP67 protection rating. The main switch is a spring-operated vacuum circuit breaker, complemented by a three-position isolating earthing switch. The equipment exhibits stable insulation performance and is particularly well suited for harsh environments such as high altitudes, extreme cold, high humidity, and polluted conditions. Moreover, its compact footprint makes it ideal for space-constrained applications, including rail transit systems.
