Recently, the 35kV Sizhoutou Substation main transformer overhaul project, undertaken by Tianan Engineering, successfully passed inspection and received high praise from the client.
The 35kV Sizhoutou Substation Main Transformer Maintenance Project marks Tianan Engineering's first time independently undertaking a main transformer overhaul for State Grid Corporation. State Grid has stringent requirements regarding both the construction team and the implementation of comprehensive safety measures on-site. Moreover, due to tight scheduling constraints—leaving just one week from power outage to completion—the project demands an exceptionally efficient timeline, from component surveying to procurement. Given the unique nature of transformer maintenance, the main transformer’s tank must be lifted and inspected within a single day, followed immediately by oil filling on the same day. Additionally, the equipment is quite aged; having been in operation for nearly two decades, many internal fasteners have rusted, and several seals have become brittle and deformed over time.
