The China-UK joint venture Ningbo Tiancheng High-Voltage Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. was established, attracting an investment of 5 million U.S. dollars. In the same year, a new line of dry-type transformers was successfully developed and passed inspections by two relevant ministries. Additionally, five residential buildings containing 148 employee apartments were put into use. The company has now recruited over 100 skilled technical professionals.
