Civilized and Healthy, Green and Eco-Friendly – Waste Sorting Knowledge Event Comes to Tianan

On September 15 at 2 p.m., a waste sorting awareness campaign titled "Civilized, Healthy, and Green: Promoting Environmental Protection," organized by the Xiangshan County Federation of Trade Unions in collaboration with the Office of the Xiangshan County Leading Group for Domestic Waste Sorting, was held in the conference room of Building B at the company's Third Center.

During the event, Hong Ningxi, deputy team leader of the Waste Sorting Office, shared valuable insights on waste classification with the company employees. She explained how to properly sort waste—detailing what constitutes "perishable waste" and "hazardous waste"—and helped our staff gain a clearer understanding of the regulations governing household waste sorting. This knowledge empowers us to better fulfill our responsibilities in waste separation, making it clear that waste sorting starts with each one of us. After the knowledge session, a waste sorting quiz was held. The questions covered topics such as urban and rural regulations on household waste classification, facilities for handling domestic waste, and proper sorting methods.

Through this event, all employees have gained a deeper understanding of the importance of waste sorting and have become more committed to fulfilling their responsibilities in this critical area. Participants unanimously expressed their determination to strictly adhere to waste-sorting guidelines in both their work and daily lives, consciously adjusting their behaviors to cultivate healthy, eco-friendly habits. They pledged to actively lead by example as pioneers of source-based waste reduction, champions of sustainable waste-sorting practices, and advocates for promoting a culture of waste-consciousness—and ultimately, as key drivers of waste recycling and resource recovery.
