The XGN49 series of indoor gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (C-GIS), hereinafter referred to as the XGN49-40.5(24) gas-insulated cubicle, is a high-tech product independently developed by Tianan Electric. It features vacuum arc-extinguishing technology and SF6 gas insulation, achieving a technical level that is domestically leading and internationally advanced.
The XGN49 inflatable switchgear features all high-voltage live components sealed within a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6 gas at a lower pressure (0.03–0.05 MPa gauge, 20°C; rated IP67). The main switch uses a spring-operated vacuum circuit breaker equipped with a three-position isolating and earthing switch. The product boasts stable insulation performance and is particularly well-suited for harsh environments such as high altitudes, extreme cold, humidity, and pollution. Additionally, its compact footprint makes it ideal for space-constrained applications—such as rail transit systems—where land availability is limited.
